Glimpses of Posco Global

POSCO's story began in 1960. Park Tae - Joon, the legendary "steel king" and a group of men were given the responsibility of building a prosperous nation with the help of steel.

They dedicated their lives and reputations to help achieve their dream through what they called as "Steelmaking Patriotism". And although every difficulty and adversity imaginable stood in their way, they refused to give up.

Today, Posco has its subsidiaries spreading across the world through steel, engineering & construction - POSCO E&C, Trade - Daewoo International, IT - Posco ICT, Energy - POSCO Energy and Materials - POSCO Chemtech. The scope of operations encompasses 8 International business sites, 50 mutual investment companies and 80 business networks.

On our journey to success, we have been ranked 1st as World's Most Admired Companies (Metals), ranked 20th as Sustainable Company by World Economic Forum, 100th in terms of business scales by Fortune Global and 'No.1 International steel company' by World Steel Dynamics.
